How Our Pricing Works

Rental Terms

One month minimum. After that it renews month to month for as long as you need it. Extend, and the rent simply continues. There is no proration for a partial month.

What’s Included

• A container that is fully cleaned and washed each turnover. That is the standard it arrives in, in the owner’s own words.
• Planks under every container, on every delivery, at no charge. They go under the corners to protect the driveway or ground surface where the container rests.
• Your lock, your key. You supply the lock at your own expense and we hold no key or combination. Nobody but you opens the container.
• No placement surcharge. Gravel, grass, dirt, or a sloped spot: if we can place the container safely, the placement itself costs nothing extra.

Transportation

Transportation is quoted separately from your monthly container rental. A job may involve more than one transportation trip — delivery, a requested relocation or exchange, and final pickup are each their own trip. Each trip includes up to 30 one-way road miles from our Carver location, and any additional road mileage for that trip is included in your quote. Because the number of trips depends on the services you request, your quote identifies every expected transportation charge before anything is scheduled.

Why we quote transportation instead of publishing a flat rate. The cost of a trip depends on how far the truck drives to your address. A published flat rate would either overcharge customers close to us or undercharge the ones farther out, and we would rather tell you the real number for your address than average it.

When You’re Charged

Your first month's rental and the delivery trip are charged when you book. The pickup trip is quoted and charged when you request pickup, because until we know where the container is going, that trip is undetermined. Returning it to our yard and moving it to a new address are different trips.
