- Usually, but the association decides before we do. Check with them whether a container is permitted, where it may stand and whether commercial trucks can use the roads in. Once that's settled the delivery itself is generally straightforward.
- There's road work on my usual route. Will that stop the delivery?
- No, but it may change the way we come in or the time we arrive. I check what's open before the day rather than discovering a closure with a loaded truck, so tell me if you know of works near you.
- Can the container go near the pond at the back of my property?
- It depends on the ground between here and there. If there's a firm route and firm footing at the spot, yes. What I avoid is taking the truck across soft shoreline ground, because that's how you end up with damage to your own property.
